Book Description: “Filthy Frannie” is a messy girl that finds out keeping things organized pays off in the end with a treat with mom at bedtime.

Mary’s Review: Filthy Frannie is a cute and colorful paperback book written in rhyme style.  Frannie cannot find anything because she leaves her belongings laying around everywhere.  One day she can’t find what she needs to go out to play.  She realizes she must do something to solve her problem.  When she realizes what she must do and does it, she also discovers an added special treat.

My granddaughters love it and I can hear them singing the song their aunt has taught them as they pick up their toys…”time to clean up, clean up, clean up”.

I love this little book and the illustrations are so colorful and cute.

I recommend this book for children 2-6.

My thoughts: This book has a wonderful message. I think it is a lesson that all parents struggle to teach children, clean up after yourself! I know we struggle with this one on a daily basis at my home.  I can usually find a child by following their trail.

Frannie learns an important lesson, if you want to find the things you need, make sure you put them away. That way you will always know where to find it.

The illustrations are simple and look like they could be crayon. This is the kind of artwork that kids will appreciate.
